Women’s Equality Day 2021| Women of Synchedin
What better way to celebrate Women’s Equality Day 2021 than by championing all the ladies of Synchedin? Check out the collection here!
Women’s Equality Day commemorates the date, 26th August 1920, that votes for women became an official part of the American constitution. The 19th Amendment, which states:
“The right of citizens of United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation,”
was ratified in congress 71 years ago. This marked a monumental turning point in the struggle for equality for women, and women’s rights.
Although there is still work to do, we can take some time today to reflect on and appreciate some of the remarkable women of history, and right now. No longer viewed as just “beautiful” and “not fit for serious employment”, there are plenty of boss ladies out there running the show.
Fun fact: up until recently, Synchedin was handled by three capable, savvy women.
