When starting out on a creative journey of any kind, it’s usually framed as a bit of fun. Only when the wheels are steadily set in motion do we turn our minds towards business.

For instance, you might have started off creating cute crochet trinkets and jewellery, sharing them on Instagram for pleasure. Then, a few friends requested to buy some pieces off you, having seen your profile. The first step is switching your personal account to an Instagram business account.

Why Switch to a Business Account?

The difference between a personal and business account on Instagram is much more than just the title.

Instagram business accounts give you access to valuable insights and information about your audience. This enables you to understand who your audience is and what they respond to best. Instagram is a powerful marketing tool even for the biggest companies.
