October has steadily drawn to a close, making way for chillier mornings, darker evenings, and cosier times. First though, let’s take a look at the Synchedin Subscriber Favourites for October!

We like to take a look back, each month, at what sounds have proven popular over the last few weeks with our subscribers. Whether you’re one of them, or thinking about becoming one (go on, you know you want to), these monthly curated collections hope to spark inspiration for you coming content.

This time, the month of autumn and Halloween has seen people digging relaxed piano music, cinematic tracks, and spooky sound effects. We can definitely see the influence of The Synchedin Halloween Store collection in the Synchedin Subscriber Favourites – October collection!

October Music

You can find all the top downloaded tracks from Synchedin in the Subscriber Favourites collection. See what fellow creators have been rating and hopefully using alongside their own wonderful projects.

Last month was super chill, and it seems that vibe has stuck around a little longer. Borrtex, FARE, and Simon Jomphe Lepine have made it from the September list back into October’s top spots. We can hardly say that we’re surprised, due to the gorgeous music these artists create.

New to the October showing is Lunar Isles, who featured recently in the Synchedin Spotlight with Undercurrent. Also, you’ll found plenty of epic and cinematic soundtracks from the prolific Wojciech Golczewski, who also recently enjoyed some time in our Friday spotlight.

October SFX

Since October can also be known as “spooktober” or spook season, it’s no great shock that scary sounds are some of the last month’s most downloaded. Whether it’s Halloween themed YouTube content, or Foley for a horror film project, it looks like you’re working on some creepy stuff out there!

Besides SFX like creaking gates and eerie drips, there’s plenty of autumnal stuff in the mix. Crackling fires and ambient outdoor sounds remain popular. So October saw content created that either scared people’s socks off, or got them cosying up with their thickest socks on.
