SXSW Online 2021 – From Austin to Log In
Austin-based festival, SXSW is moving online for the first time since its birth in 1987. Find out how the festival is being made covid-safe here!
The digital experience will still feature conference keynotes and sessions, screenings, showcases, networking, and exhibitions across the music, film and gaming industry. The dates for SXSW EDU Online will run from March 9 – March 11, 2021 and SXSW Online will take place March 16 – March 20, 2021.
Panel Picker proposals and Film submissions open on October 6th 2020, with the closing date for Panel Picker proposals closing on October 16th 2020, and film submissions deadline being October 28th 2020.
SXSW is working with the City of Austin and public health authorities on plans for a 2021 physical event, and will provide updates as more information becomes available through Facebook and their subscription newsletters.
