Looks like TikTok has taken over the world, right? So, here’s how to upload TikTok videos to Instagram Reels, so your content can reach as many people as possible!

Since August last year, users of Instagram have been able to enjoy an incredibly close replica of TikTok on the platform. Reels is Instagram’s very own short-form video feature, with the interface looking quite familiar.

That being said, content creators have been utilising both platforms, rather than simply pitting one against the other. Sharing these videos across multiple platforms is a great way to grow your following organically.

Fortunately, to upload TikTok videos to Instagram Reels couldn’t be simpler!

Upload TikTok Videos to Reels

Firstly, you need to download your chosen TikTok video. Once you’ve found the video, simply tap the share icon on the right-hand side of the screen.

From here, hit save video and the video will automatically be saved onto your phone.

Now, to upload the video to your reels you will need to open up the Instagram app. Swipe left, which will take you to the camera, and select REEL from the scrollable banner at the bottom of the screen.

Then, head to the gallery icon in the bottom left corner and choose the TikTok video you previously downloaded.

It is important to note here that Reels are only 15 seconds long, so you will need to trim and edit your video. After you’ve finished editing, hit the upload button and fill out any info you want on there, and you’re all set!
